CSR

Environmental

Since 2022, a dedicated team created by consultants has been raising internal awareness about environmental issues. This team, nicknamed "Thigreen", implements awareness-raising actions around ecology and works to reduce Thiga's impact.

We also measure our carbon footprint every year and have defined a trajectory to reduce our emissions.

Our actions

Below you will find the main actions implemented at Thiga to reduce our environmental impact.
These actions have notably enabled us to achieve an EcoVadis score of 72/100 on the Environment pillar.

Purchasing

We have implemented a purchasing policy committing us to consider the environmental impacts of our goods and services procurement at every stage of the purchasing process.

Since 2023, 100% of our Apple IT equipment and professional phones are purchased refurbished.

We no longer offer default goodies upon joining Thiga: new Thicrew members can select only what will be useful to them. These are supplied by Panopli, a B-Corp certified company.

Recycling and waste

Internal documentation is made available to employees and regularly updated to guide them in properly sorting their daily waste. For recycling, we work with our partner Les Joyeux Recycleurs.

We have also made lunchboxes available in our offices to prevent in-office employees from using single-use packaging for their take-away lunches.

Awareness

Many resources are made available to employees for awareness purposes: newsletters, podcasts, media, associations… We also organised our first Climate Fresk workshops in 2023 and plan to expand the programme.

We regularly host sessions to raise awareness among the Thicrew in various formats: workshops, roundtables, conferences...

Carbon footprint

Since 2023, we conduct our annual Carbon Assessment (Bilan Carbone®) in partnership with Sami. The results enable us to draw up an action plan to reduce our carbon emissions year after year.

For the organisation of our annual conference La Product Conf (LPC), we have partnered since 2023 with Muto, which works on the reuse of stand materials and display banners. For the same event, our partner Savr helps us avoid food waste by organising the donation of leftover food.

In 2024, we rolled out a travel policy aimed at managing and limiting the use of air travel for professional trips.

Commitment and SBTi

Thiga is committed to reducing its greenhouse gas emissions in line with climate science. Our short-term target (scopes 1 and 2) has been validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), in compliance with a trajectory aimed at limiting climate change to 1.5°C:

  • The reference year chosen to set our targets is 2022, with emissions of 2.6 tCO2e for scope 1 and 1.8 tCO2e for scope 2

  • Our target is to reduce these emissions by 42% by 2030

By measuring our carbon footprint every year, and thanks to our various partners, we will continue to work on reducing our impact and that of our clients.

The company's articles of association were furthermore updated by the partners in May 2023 to include the following statement: "The company intends to generate a positive and significant social, societal and environmental impact in the conduct of its activities."
